Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa have returned with a new video for their Stoner’s Night cut “Why Do I Stay High,” which features a relaxed hook from Elle Varner.
Throughout the hazy visual, Juice and Wiz chill in their comfort zone as they smoke joint after joint and rap about their insatiable weed habits, while they’re surrounded by fancy cars and a bevy of women.
“Why Do I Stay High” is the third single off their collab project Stoner’s Night to get the visual treatment and follows in the footsteps of “Backseat” and “Pop That Trunk.”
Wiz Khalifa has been hard at work in 2022. He followed up Stoner’s Night a few months later with a new project called Full Court Press, which he made with Smoke DZA, Big K.R.I.T. and Girl Talk. Wiz also dropped a solo track called “Iced Out Necklace,” which came with another video last month.
In honor of 4/20, the Pittsburgh rhymer also brought his classic mixtape Taylor Allderdice to streaming and recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his debut Rolling Papers by sitting down with HipHopDX for a reflective documentary.
“10 years sounds like a lot but it don’t feel like that much it still feels fresh,” Wiz can be heard saying in the film’s opening scene. “It still feels good. For me, it’s when I look back at the footage. Cause I’m always in it when I’m there, but when I look back I’m like ‘whoa we did some magnificent shit, for real.’”
