After Antonio Brown’s latest drama cost him a roster spot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the oft-troubled NFL wide receiver may have a prominent co-sign in the world of Hip Hop: Kanye West.
During an episode of the Tapped in Daily chat with Kazeem Famuyide and Ashley Nicole Moss on Clubhouse Friday (January 7), Justin LaBoy talked up Brown and told him Ye personally wanted him in the studio.
“AB listen man, ‘til another team pick you up you gotta pull up to the studio man,” said LaBoy. “Me and Ye working, and Ye want you to pull up, man. … Ye’s another advocate for mental health and equality everywhere, so, I’m excited about bringing both of them together.” LaBoy added that a record collaboration between the two would be “legendary” and “amazing.”

After Brown exited the Bucs 28-24 victory versus the New York Jets on Sunday (January 2), he decided not to explain why he left but instead release a single titled “Pit Not The Palace.” The record elicited a mixed response on social media and was his first release since 2020’s “Finish Strong.”
Brown’s latest stunt has made him a topic of discussion, not only in the NFL but among his Florida peers in Hip Hop. As Rick Ross and Kodak Black both backed Brown action’s on the field, off the field, he found himself in the middle of a proposed affair between he and Asian Doll.
After initially asking the NFL standout to take her to dinner, Asian quickly shut down the notion of being with AB and reaffirmed her loyalty to the late King Von, who was shot and killed in October 2020.
