It’s a brand new day, which means more Instagram posts from a clearly frustrated Kanye West. The Hip Hop mogul has been posting non-stop about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, custody disagreements and Pete Davidson since Sunday (March 13) when his children weren’t “allowed” to come to Sunday Service.
Now, he’s turning his attention to media outlets such as OK! Magazine, Perez Hilton and Us Weekly. On Monday (March 14), Kanye shared a screenshot of an OK! Magazine article that included Kardashian’s claim he was just at her home to take their children to school.
“Ok ok magazine, what do you mean wild claims ????” he wrote in the caption. “My kids were not allowed to go to Sunday Service yesterday and there’s multiple times where the schedules were changed last minute, which alienated me as a parent which is illegal thank God. My family has been broken. My name has been dragged and dropped ”
Kanye West again brings Davidson into the picture who’s been dating Kardashian since last year. He was upset a text exchange between the two men was leaked online and showed Davidson bragging about being in bed with his “wife.”
“The boyfriend been trying to play with me since SNL skits,” he wrote. “I was called a stalker by random has beens There’s multiple attempts to gas light me. SKETE called this ‘legally single’ person my wife. I am not ramped up. I successfully avoided doing anything that would give them reason to put a restraining order on me. She think it’s funny to try to drive me over the edge but I didn’t let them.”
He continued, “Y’all can’t judge my state of well being based on the amount of time I leave an instagram post up or me using my platform to ensure that I stay consistent in my children’s lives. A lot of baby mamas play like this across the world. But nobody finna play with me or my children.
“I know that Kim and SKETE are pawns in a bigger game Lord forgive them I made those videos because she ignored my text about bringing my children to church then had her boyfriend text me and brag about being in bed with ‘my wife’ then tell me ‘he could help me.’”
In a follow-up post, he questioned Perez Hilton’s claim he was being dishonest about the time he was given with his children. He also suggested they were doing all of this to promote Hulu’s new reality show, The Kardashians.
“What did I lie about?” he said. “I am ‘allowed’ to see my kids YALL soooo mad that I can’t be written off as abuser or a stalker YALL soooo mad that SKETE showed who he really is Right before the Hulu trailer dropped. I’m not a bad guy. Kim’s not a bad person. Kids want parents to stay together but Hulu needed a new narrative.”
Then it was Us Weekly‘s turn and Kanye again accused media of trying to gaslight him. For anyone unfamiliar with the term, “gaslighting” means to manipulate someone by psychological means into questioning their own sanity.
Kanye West then called out his famous friends for not speaking out, although he did get support from his longtime collaborator Consequence. This time, he used the original post about the Sunday Service debacle he has since deleted.
“This is the post I was bashed for,” he said. “Tell me how to be the best dad when the mom is trying to shit on you after not letting you see your kids And I love how I have no celebrity “friends” that will speak up on my behalf YALL just watching OK cool.”
As for Consequence, he insisted Kanye West is a perfectly capable father and applauded him for taking such good care of his kids. He also admitted Kanye’s unraveling has been hard to see.
“One thing I can say for sure,” he tweeted on Sunday. “And not just because of our history. Kanye West is a great Dad!!! He loves his children with all his heart and this becoming painful to watch. Kanye is a ‘girl’ Dad. North is his 1st born. Instinctually, he’s just here to protect her. That should be respected no matter what.”
According to TMZ, Kanye West has lawyered up in an attempt to iron out the custody issues. The case will end up in front of a judge unless he and Kardashian are able to come to an agreement.
Ye’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, will try to establish something more formal between the former couple, but if that doesn’t work, she’ll go to court and ask a judge to impose ground rules for custody and visitation.
