It looks like someone may have finally gotten through to Kanye West about his recent online behavior. The 44-year-old Hip Hop mogul has been on a non-stop Instagram posting spree over the past several days, airing out his marriage woes with estranged wife Kim Kardashian and clowning her new boyfriend Pete (or “Skete”) Davidson — IN ALL CAPS.
On Tuesday (February 15), Kanye shared another Instagram post, this time in lower case, and suggested he may be going a bit overboard.
“I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them,” he wrote. “I’m working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screenshots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be a good leader is to be a good listener.”

On Valentine’s Day (February 14), Kanye West encouraged his 11.5 million Instagram followers to harass Davidson on site, not long after delivering Kim Kardashian a truck full of roses.
“THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF MY FAMILY,” he said in a since-deleted post. “MY FAMILY MEANS MORE TO ME THAN ANY OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENT IN LIFE IF ANYONE LOVES ME AND MY FAMILY IF YOU SEE SKETE IN REAL LIFE SCREAM AT YHE LOOSER AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS AND SAY KIMYE FOREVER.”
The post evidently concerned the mother of his four children, so she text Kanye to explain the potential consequences of saying something like that about the Saturday Night Live actor.
“U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault,” Kardashian wrote. “There are dangerous people out there and this is scary and doesn’t have to be,” to which Kanye replied, “I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete.”
From there, Kanye West posted a Baby Boy meme of actor Ving Rhames putting Tyrese in a chokehold with the caption, “UPON MY WIFE’S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE. IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF.”
Kardashian started dating Davidson not long after her SNL hosting duties last October. Last week, the 28-year-old comedian referred to the former reality television star as his “girlfriend” for the first time while speaking to People magazine, and Ye has been on a tear ever since. But for now, he has an album to promote. Donda 2 is expected to arrive on February 22, the same day the Miami listening event is planned.
