Kanye West went on another late night Twitter tirade in the wee hours of Wednesday (July 22) and made some wild allegations about the Kardashian family.
Not only did he insinuate his wife Kim Kardashian cheated on him with Meek Mill, but he also suggested mother-in-law Kris Jenner was a white supremacist, claimed he’d been trying to divorce Kardashian for a year and said the Kardashians were trying to have him committed.
As Kanye’s behavior grows increasingly more alarming, his family is clearly concerned about his mental health. Subsequently, Kardashian is speaking up about Kanye’s bipolar disorder. In a long winded Instagram Story post, the reality television queen shed a little light on what it’s been like living with a sick husband.
“As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder,” she began. “Anyone who has this or has a love on in their life who does, know how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconception about mental health.”

Kardashian went on to clarify she has no control over his actions and confessed she’s struggling to get him the help he apparently needs.
“Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor,” she continued. “People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”
The mother of four went on to say she understands her husband is “subject to criticism” because he’s in the public eye and insisted he’s a “brilliant but complicated” person. She added the pressures of being a black artist who lost his mother make the “pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder” worse.
“Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his actions,” she said. “Living with bi-polar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas, no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some. That is part of his genius and as we have all witnessed, many of his dreams have come true.”
Finally, Kardashian pleaded with the public and media to “give us compassion and empathy” they need to overcome this episode.
Kanye has been firing on all four cylinders since he announced his intention to run for president on the Fourth of July. His first campaign rally in South Carolina on Sunday (July 12) ended up with Kanye in tears, crying about how he almost “killed” his first daughter North West by asking Kardashian to abort. He also spouted off false claims about abolitionist Harriet Tubman, bringing shouts of “C’mon on man” from the audience.
His latest Twitter vomit seems to have been the horse that broke the camel’s back, prompting Kardashian to finally speak out.
