Kodak Black caught fire with his latest hit “Super Gremlin” in 2021 and he’s carrying that momentum into 2022. The ATL Jacob-produced track has held steady in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 5 and according to the RIAA, it went certified platinum on February 25.
The Florida rapper even threw “Super Gremlin” on his Back For Everything album to give it a second life after originally landing on the Sniper Gang compilation project. After his last solo effort failed to garner 20,000 total album-equivalent sales, BFE is expected to notch a lofty debut on the Billboard 200.
According to Hits Daily Double, Back For Everything is currently on pace to sell 60,000 total album-equivalent units first week which will land Kodak Black at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 only behind Disney’s Encanto soundtrack.

The 60,000 sales mark would be Kodak Black’s third highest-selling first week to date behind 2018’s Dying to Live and 2017’s Painting Pictures.
The Sniper Gang leader is clearly happy with his decision to sign with Atlantic Records and the job they’ve been doing to support him through various legal troubles and support his music.
While that might be the case for Kodak, who fired off a tweet telling fellow rappers to join the Atlantic family, the same can’t be said for NBA YoungBoy and Meek Mill.
Kodak continued to bolster Back For Everything‘s exposure with the release of his “Midas Touch” video on Wednesday (March 2).
