Kodak Black’s mother went to a local tattoo parlor on Thursday (February 24) to show support for her son’s latest album Back For Everything before the project dropped on Friday (February 25).
The “Super Gremlin” rapper shared a video to Instagram that showed his mother Marcelene Octave getting a sniper gang tattoo inked on her left arm to honor her son’s hard work. In the video, Kodak’s mama sits in the chair with her eyes, resting her hand on her chin and relaxing as she gets tatted.
“Ma Jus Snapped & Tatted #SG On Her,” Kodak wrote in his caption.
The dedication to getting tatted shows just how close Kodak Black is with his mother. The pair have a very special relationship, with Kodak often showering her in gifts to show his appreciation. Last April, Kodak bought his mother a diamond-encrusted grill just out of love, which she flexed in an Instagram Story. On Monday, the Florida rapper even went so far as to purchase his mama a $3 million mansion for her birthday.
Their closeness has made headlines in the past as well. While the pair were in Miami celebrating Kodak’s brother’s birthday last October, he was filmed grabbing his mother’s backside and trying to smooch her on the mouth, behavior that turned the heads of many once it went viral online.
“When I see my mama, homie, I adore her, homie,” Kodak said in a response video. “I kiss her feet, homie, what you talkin’ bout boy… Some of you n-ggas don’t even holla at your mama. Some of you n-ggas don’t even call your mama, homie. Some of you n-ggas don’t even spend time with your mama, homie. She ain’t trippin’. I don’t give a fuck what you talkin’ bout, n-gga. I grabbed my mama because I treat my mama like my lady, n-gga. That’s my queen, n-gga.”
