Lil Durk recently sat down with Million Dollaz Worth of Game to talk about his new album 7220. During his appearance, he also touched on his recent engagement with longtime girlfriend India Royale and received some backlash online when he claimed India’s low body count was what inspired him to propose.
Following the backlash, Royal took to Twitter on Friday (March 11) to stand up for her fiancé. “Idgaf what people think about my fiancé,” she tweeted out. “That’s why he mine, get you one.”
She also took some time to respond to a few clarifying questions from fans.
“So you’re cool with him talking about [a] body count with a past like his? To each his own I guess,” wrote one commenter in a now-deleted post, to which India simply replied, “duh.”

There were many notable moments during Lil Durk’s Million Dollaz Worth of Game appearance, including that the OTF head referred to himself as being bigger than Drake to certain demographics.
“Shit, to us, in this muthafucka, we bigger than [Drake], you know what I’m sayin’?” Durk claimed in his recent interview with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo. “We touch people; Drake at a rate where he can stay in the fucking house if he want to.
“But nah, shout out to him. He touch the youth. That’s one thing about him. He touched us and got us hotter than what the fuck we was. But a lot of people can’t say that, a lot of these muthafuckas don’t even know him; a lot of people he talk to don’t know me.
He added, “I’m in this muthafucka, in the middle of the trenches with a million dollars doing a fucking interview, that’s why.”
Durk’s new album 7220 dropped on Friday and features appearances from Future, Gunna, Summer Walker and Morgan Wallen.
