Enigmatic New Jersey rapper Mach-Hommy has joined forces with Atlanta’s Big Cheeko for the latter’s new single “Spin Off.”
The Leedox2-directed visual features both rappers spitting heated bars over a jazzy piano loop in a dark parking garage, while Mach-Hommy lets off a flame thrower close to Cheeko’s head. Neither rapper flinches at any point as Cheeko continues to smoke his blunt.
Cheeko’s new tape Block Barry White will be executively produced by Mach-Hommy, who had one of 2021’s most critically lauded releases with Pray For Haiti. The Newark-based rapper also dropped off the Balens-Cho (Hot Candles) mixtape in December.
“Big Cheeko [and] Mach-Hommy…the beginning to n-ggas end,” Cheeko said of the upcoming project in a statement, to which Mach-Hommy merely said, “no comment.”

Mach-Hommy sat down with NPR in July to discuss his home country’s current political turmoil, spurred on by the assassination of the country’s president Jovenel Moïse earlier that month.
“What’s going on right now is kind of like the norm for us, especially abroad, where, most of us, we send more than our prayers back home,” Mach-Hommy admitted to journalist Michel Martin.
“A lot of our psychological energy and makeup is kind of like split between two places because we have to be where we are. But we also – we can’t leave where we come from. So I wasn’t really shocked by the recent events. This kind of theme is a recurring theme with our nation and our history in the Western Hemisphere…To me, it’s a broken record that’s on repeat. So when I call my family, it’s, like, the same conversation. A lot of people are extremely depressed more than anything at the recent events.
