Posted by Los Angeles, CA – Meek Mill got used to not being under the microscope of the paparazzi during the COVID-19 pandemic. While he was walking the streets of Los Angeles, the Atlantic Records artist was taken aback when the cameras started flashing and someone asked him about his ex Nicki Minaj giving birth to her first child.
“I forgot I was a celebrity until you came at me,” he said with a laugh through his face mask.
The paparazzi asked him how he could forget and continued to hit him with an onslaught of questions. But Meek only had one message he wanted to make sure they got.
“Tell my grandmama I said what up,” he told them. “Make sure y’all put this on TV.”

Meek avoided commenting on Nicki, who gave birth to her baby with Kenneth Petty on September 30, despite addressing her pregnancy in the past. Earlier this year, Meek got into an argument with Nicki and Petty at a West Hollywood clothing store.
In the aftermath, Nicki accused Meek of being a woman beater. He denied the allegations.
