The latest trend in cryptocurrency is Dogecoin and everyone including rappers are buying up real estate with the company. On Tuesday (May 4), Meek Mill let his fans know he’s tired of missing out on all the coin that’s been going around.
“I just grabbed some doge I’m tired of missing out,” Meek wrote in a simple tweet.

Meek purchased over $50,000 worth of stock which is the equivalent of 92,411 DOGE, and the rapper took to his Instagram Story to share the news.
“I just grabbed some doge,” Meek wrote in the story. “Birds too much money moving for me lol.”

Meek seems to be getting used to how cryptocurrency works after expressing interest in it earlier this year when he asked fans to join him in learning how to maneuver through the complicated format. If Dogecoin continues to move at this rate, Meek’s $50,000 investment will be doubled resulting in a huge payout for the Dreamchasers leader.
According to a report by Market Watch, Dogecoin’s price increased 11,000 percent since the beginning of 2021. It reached a market cap of about $70 billion on Tuesday, making it the fourth most valuable cryptocurrency after bitcoin, ethereum, and binance coin.
Dogecoin launched in 2013 as a joke towards the growing cryptocurrency business. The company built a cult-like following around the world and early investors such as Elon Musk have been saying that $DOGE will be worth even more money by the end of the year.
