Philadelphia, PA – Meek Mill and Lil Uzi Vert take Hip Hop fans to Philly with their latest collaboration, “Blue Notes 2.”
The sequel to 2016’s DC4 cut “Blue Notes,” the Nick Papz and Xander-produced track finds Meek navigating the fake love while Uzi weaves in and out of his verses with short bursts of bars.
“I look you n-ggas right dead in the eyes/And I ain’t surprised you ain’t ridin’ for us/How would you feel if you bust some mills with some n-ggas/And they switch side on you?,” Meek raps with his usual intensity.
“This the meek I was looking for myself” the MMG rapper said of the song in an Instagram caption.

The high-octane song is accompanied by a cinematic video directed by Kid Art, which finds Meek Mill and Lil Uzi Vert cruising through the streets of Philadelphia on ATVs while police helicopters hover above. The clip also features a cameo from Fabolous.
“Blue Notes 2” isn’t the first time Meek Mill and Baby Pluto have linked up; the pair previously collaborated on DC4‘s “Froze” and Wins & Losses‘ “Fuck That Check Up.”
The track is the latest in a recent spree of Meek singles following the Lil Baby and Lil Durk-assisted “Sharing Locations” and “Mandela Freestyle,” which he came in celebration of his Nelson Mandela Humanitarian Award.
Coupled with recent studio session sightings with JAY-Z, Bobby Shmurda, DaBaby, EST Gee, Fabolous and Brent Faiyaz, all signs point to Meek Mill prepping a new project. His last full-length release, the Grammy-nominated, platinum-certified Championships, arrived back in 2018.
