Megan Thee Stallion is continuing to help her hometown in the aftermath of a devastating and historic winter storm.
The Grammy-nominated star is teaming with the National Association of Christian Churches (NACC) Disaster Services and U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee to raise funds to rebuild and repair homes for senior citizens and single mothers for free. The list of those partnering with Meg doesn’t stop with the representative for Texas’ 18th congressional district. Friends such as Taraji P. Henson, her label 300 Entertainment and brand partners Fashion Novia, Mielle, Revlon, The Coach Foundation and Dolce and Gabbana are all listed as donors, which will help select Houstonians in need over the next two years.
She shared a flyer on Instagram Thursday (March 4) and called for her Hotties to help out in any way.
“It is always very important for me to help give back to the city that made me,” she captioned. “I just want to say thank you to everyone who came together with me to help rebuild my hometown of Houston Texas.”

“Seeing the devastation and hearing the heartbreaking stories that have surfaced, I knew I had to do something to help my hometown,” the Good News rapper said in an official statement. “I am so happy that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, the NACC and I aligned on the goal of repairing the homes of the elderly and uninsured single moms who are the most vulnerable and often displaced by these kinds of devastating events.”
Numerous members of the Hip Hop community stepped up to assist the Houston area in wake of the storm such as Gunna, Travis Scott, Lil Baby and more, both in terms of being on the ground and calling out government officials for their lack of help.
