It’s no secret 18-year-old rapper NLE Choppa has been attempting to shed his old ways in favor of a more spiritual path. From meditation to holistic medicine, Choppa has been exploring what he sees as a more virtuous lifestyle.
On Tuesday (June 22), NLE Choppa challenged rappers to stop drinking lean and pick up a glass of chlorophyll instead. Specifically, he called out Moneybagg Yo to stop putting the addictive substance in his body.
“I Have A New Challenge For Rappers. For Every Pint of Lean, Or Even Alcohol, Drink A Pint Of Chlorophyll,” he wrote. “I Wanna Start By Challenging @MoneyBaggYo I’ll Bring This To You Personally Fam Purple heart Order Here. Chlorophyllchallenge,”
Now, Moneybagg Yo has responded to Choppa’s challenge with a simple handshake emoji, making it clear he’s down for the cause.

According to the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston, the extra minerals found in chlorophyll make it easier for your body to absorb. While the effects of chlorophyll are unclear, supplement makers claim it can do things such as boost red blood cells, help with weight loss, heal damaged skin, neutralize toxins, cut inflammation and prevent cancer.
Curing cancer is something NLE Choppa has been fascinated by in recent months. On June 9, Choppa headed to Twitter where he revealed he’d learned a herbal concoction he promoted helped cure someone’s cancer.
“Wow man just was informed I helped cure someone from cancer,” he wrote. “This Major To Me.” He was later forced to defend himself, insisting the natural remedies he pushes are the real deal.
“It’s funny cause some people think I’m lying, which is understandable but that’s nowhere near the case,” he wrote. “Curing disease is simple, it takes a meatless, dairy free, sugar free diet. Implant herbs, Sea mosses, black seed, neem, and other herbs. My mugwort was included in her diet.”
At the same time, Choppa promoted his Health and Wellness website that sells a host of holistic products.
“I don’t just sell this items to sell them,” he wrote alongside a link. “I know the impact and what they can do for the mind, body, and spirit. I’ve healed people of allergic reactions in my own house, helped Unc with diabetes, and now cancer. Beyond blessed we here to help and heal.”
