Prior to the release of her 777 album, Latto made headlines last month when she revealed that one of the male collaborators on her project gave her a hard time about clearing his verse over an unanswered DM.

While many blamed Kodak Black, he was quick to dismiss the allegations and another member of his team said Latto was “full of shit.”
“That Mulatto Girl IS NOT Talkin Bout Me Homie,” Kodak tweeted. “I See Y’all Steady Reachin Lol … Shawty Ain’t Even Say A N-gga Name On Dat Shit Ion Know Why Tf Y’all Tryna Make A N-gga Wear Dat Jacket I’m Too Fly Fa Dat Shit Homie.”

Latto hasn’t cleared up the speculation by putting a name to the claims, but Whoreible Decisions podcast co-host Mandii B recently threw Lil Wayne’s name into the ring as the guilty party.
“To be fair, Latto did not confirm that it was actually Kodak,” said Mandii B. “I will say, the tea I got… So I don’t even know if I can share this tea but it’s old now. I actually heard it was Wayne, from someone that knows him.”

Latto and Lil Wayne teamed up with Childish Gambino for “Sunshine” off her 777 project. Neither party has put out a statement in regards to Mandii B’s allegations.
