The second posthumous album from Pop Smoke is scheduled to arrive on Friday (July 16). Originally thought to be self-titled, it turns out the 17-track project is actually called Faith.

Pop Smoke’s manager Steven Victor of Victor Victor Worldwide made the reveal via Twitter on Sunday (July 11), writing simply, “Pop Smoke ‘FAITH’ July 16 2021.”

Promotion for Pop Smoke’s Faith is currently in overdrive. Posters have been popping up all over random locations in New York City and Los Angeles, allowing fans to use QR codes to unlock audio snippets from the album.

Pop Smoke was shot and killed in February 2020 during a Hollywood Hills home invasion. His first posthumous album, Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon, arrived five months later with the help of executive producer 50 Cent.

Since its release, the project has proven to be a Billboard phenomenon. Not only did it debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, it returned to the top spot three months later.

Last month, the album — which features guest appearances from Quavo, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Future, Swae Lee, Tyga and more — was certified 2x-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). As of July, the album has now spent a full calendar year on the Billboard 200.
