The fallout from the Will Smith and Chris Rock slap heard around the world at the 2022 Oscars seems to be never-ending. While Chris Rock’s brother, Kenny, is calling out Will for a celebrity boxing match in June, Ray J just wants to see the comedic legend and Will Smith duke it out themselves.
Ray J stepped into The Shade Room on Wednesday (April 13) with a business proposal for Chris Rock and Will Smith that will find them settling their differences in the boxing ring for a payday of no less than $50 million each.
“It can only be Will vs Chris, my investors are ready right now – 50M fight no less,” he wrote. “That’s each.”

Neither party has responded to the idea, but it doesn’t seem like a likely proposition. Although, Rock admitted he is looking for a paycheck to come forward and talk about being slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars last month.
Either way, Kenny Rock is still seeking an opponent to take on at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida on June 11 and an invitation remains open for Will Smith to take the opposing corner.
Chris Rock’s younger brother is still confident in his ability to KO Smith despite the vast height difference.
“Yes — no if and buts about it,” he told TMZ. “I’ll let the hands do the talking.”
However, Will Smith also received a 10-year ban from the Academy for walking on stage and slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars after the comedian made a G.I. Jane joke about the actor’s wife Jada Pinkett.
