HipHopDX Rising Star DDG is facing some heavy allegations from his now-ex Rubi Rose. According to a string of tweets from the “Bad & Boujee” video star, the Michigan-born rapper is preventing her from connecting with other artists in the industry, recently stole her phone so he could post sappy videos and photos to her Instagram account and has a penchant for prostitutes.
The tweets arrived on Wednesday (March 24) but were soon deleted. But as everyone is well aware, screenshots are forever.
“Literally blocks every rapper in the industry who dms me,” she wrote. “like damn I just wanna make music smh. idgaf how another n-gga feel about me. I love him fr, but it’s just too much now. He deserves to be happy and so do I. He wants to chase prostitutes, i’m not the one for him. This n-gga mad I don’t wanna be with him and took my phone and posted that weird shit. Literally locked himself in a room and took my phone.”

In the comment section, DDG claimed “cap” and encouraged her followers to stream “Die 4 Respect,” his latest single. She replied with “stream he in his feelings.”
The apparent social media breakup follows Saweetie and Quavo’s public split. Last week, the “Icy Girl” rapper accused the Migos star of cheating on her with multiple women as she confirmed she was single, prompting him to respond.
“I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time,” he wrote on March 19. “I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives. I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”
The couple began dating in September 2018 and went took their relationship public during New York Fashion week that same year. But it was not mean to be, with Saweetie explaining, “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women. I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.”
As for DDG and Rose, the couple has been dating off and on for a few months. In January, he claimed he had a “whole situation” but then declared himself “single” on Valentine’s Day, eliciting a “Yikes” reaction from Rose.
