Posted by Houston, TX – Slim Thug hopes his customers are “Still Tippin.” Big Slim took a job working at his hometown Houston Checkers in 2020 and the fast-food restaurant promoted him to drive-thru manager earlier this week.
To celebrate the promotion, Thug surprised customers by handling the headset at the Northside drive-thru and provided a discounted menu, taste tests for new items like the delicious chicken tenders and even gave out a few free meals to lucky customers.

Other customers entered a raffle for free Checkers for a year and others spun a wheel that offered other various prizes.

97.9 The Box hosted the party with a DJ booth and tent for fans to relax and enjoy their meals with some H-Town tunes ringing off.
“I absolutely love Checkers & Rally’s,” Thug told GlobalGrind. “I grew up going there all the time with my family, and I’m excited to spread the word about the brand’s great food and service.”

The 41-year-old rapper is still keeping busy on the music side as well. He returned at the top of 2022 with the arrival of his BIGslim project. Slim Thug also released a visual to project standout “Drifting” last week.
