Pop star Aaron Carter was confident Soulja Boy wouldn’t respond to a recent Instagram Live video in which he said he’d be down for a celebrity boxing match with the “Crank Dat” rapper, claiming his “26 years of longevity scares [him].”
But likely to Carter’s surprise, Soulja Boy did respond and he’s ready to step in the ring with the former child star.
Carter, whoever the fuck you is, I just saw something on Shade Room saying you wanna box,” he says in the clip. “Boy, I’ll beat the candy out your pockets. Aren’t you the n-gga that has the songs like, ‘I want candy?’ I’ll be the candy out your pockets. What the fuck is you talking about? Fuck Aaron Carter! Who the fuck is Aaron Carter? Aaron Carter you’s a bitch. I’ll beat the tattoos off your face.”

Celebrity boxing matches have grown increasingly popular in recent months. Aaron Carter jumped in the ring with former NBA star Lamar Odom in June but was knocked out in the second round. Despite the loss, he’s evidently willing to do more.
Meanwhile, Soulja Boy threatened to knock out YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul in March in a since-deleted tweet that read, “Still gon knock Jake paul out when I see him. Gotta get that get back for Nate.”
Jake Paul also caught the wrath of Blueface after he insulted him following a bare-knuckle fight win against TikToker Kane Trujillo last month, telling The Cruz Show nobody would watch Blueface fight his adversary 6ix9ine because “all they do is drugs and go into the studio.”
“It’s funny that he says that, being somebody that came from the entertainment side to the boxing world,” Blueface responded. “It’s real shallow of him to not view it that way. That’s like somebody coming into the music industry, rapping funny to everybody else, and then I’m bashing him, too, even though that’s how I came up.”
He continued, “He’s a total clown for that. If anything, he should have said, ‘Hey, that’s how I started, so I would watch somebody that’s…’ you know? Same difference. He looks like an idiot. I think he’s full of himself right now. I think he thinks he started his life out boxing. Like he’s really believing that. He’s got about, what, two, three fights? Come on, bro.”
Sources reportedly say Celebrity Boxing has reached out to Soulja Boy to make the Aaron Carter fight a reality but so far, he hasn’t responded.
