Super Bowl Ball Signed By Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar & Mary J. Blige Up For Auction

Rap fans who witnessed the legendary Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show will now have a chance to bring home a historical piece of memorabilia from the 2022 game.

As reported by Billboard, Heritage Auctions has announced they’ll be selling a 2022 Super Bowl LVI leather Wilson football signed by Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak. Unfortunately, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent didn’t have an opportunity to sign the ball.

The description of the football reads, “In what many referred to as ‘the best Super Bowl halftime show’ of all time, the 2022 Super Bowl LVI show celebrated Hip Hop, its pioneers and current stars, and of course the music of Los Angeles.

“This leather Wilson ball is signed by Dre, Em, Mary J, Anderson .Paak and Kendrick in bold black ink. The autographs were acquired by our consignor at the Big Game and is one of the finest collectibles we’ve seen from the legendary show.”

The item will be part of a sale running from May 12 to 14 and will start with a current bid of $2,600.

Every Song Performed During Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show

The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show was produced by JAY-Z and kicked off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on February 13.

While the show ran through many of the artist’s biggest hits, Snoop Dogg said during a recent interview with Drink Champs he would’ve really liked to have performed something from his own discography, rather than just from his discography with Dre.

“Let me tell you what you didn’t see that you ain’t saying anything about,” Snoop Dogg told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. “You didn’t hear ‘Nuthin But A ‘G Thang’ you didn’t hear shit from Death Row. What about that era? That didn’t mean nothing? So you got to look at Dr. Dre’s mind state. Whatever he was on, he was on. That was his show. They asked him to perform so whoever he wanted to bring to the party, he had the right to.”

Snoop Dogg continued by clarifying that just because he couldn’t perform his hits didn’t mean he wasn’t gonna support Dr. Dre for this legendary show.

“And when he said ‘I don’t want to do this song, this song with this song,’ we couldn’t contest that because they didn’t ask us to come,” he said. “I would have loved to do’Nuthin But A ‘G Thang,’ ‘Gin and Juice,’ ‘What’s My Name,’ ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot,’ anything out of my catalog. I didn’t get to do one Snoop Dogg song. I did everything to support Dr. Dre.”
