New York, NY – With the help of Smino and Arin Ray, Terrace Martin brought his Drones album to life on late-night TV.
In an Instagram post on Friday (January 7), Terrace Martin thanked both Smino and Arin Ray for performing their sensational “This Morning” collaboration on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“Sending love & blessings to my team for helping with my performance on @fallontonight,” he began. “It’s not easy doing these type of performances when you have a lot of moving pieces. Peace to my brothers @arinraycamp & @smino for killing it as always.”
Terrace Martin also took a moment to thank Calmatic, the director behind Lil Nas X hit “Old Town Road” music video, for his curation of the performance, which paid heavy homage to their shared roots in the city of Los Angeles.
“I will also like to send love to my brother @calmatic for always being there for me & having the best ideas with a high-quality eye & ear for art,” he wrote in part. “Especially Los Angeles Art. Thank to my family @simplywholesome for allowing me to use the space. I’ve been eating there since the 90s and It’s always been a dream of mine to perform there.”
