The Game has been putting in work on his forthcoming album Drillmatic, but not without speaking his mind on some of his rap peers.
The Compton native threw shade at Eminem last month when he declared he’d emerge victorious over the self-proclaimed rap god in a Verzuz battle, before doubling down on his claim that he’s the superior rapper.
However, it isn’t just the Verzuz arena where The Game is looking to do battle with Eminem. According to his manager Wack 100, the former G-Unit representative has a diss song aimed at the Detroit rap legend that’s locked and loaded.
“This n-gga finna start another fire,” Wack 100 said during a recent Clubhouse call. “We starting a fire. The Black Slim Shady is coming. [Eminem] better be ready because this n-gga done went crazy … If [Eminem] responded to Machine Gun Kelly and Nick Cannon, boy… it is what it is.”
Wack continued to hype up a Game versus Eminem showdown, pointing to the 8 Mile rapper’s history of being “disrespectful” on the mic when it comes to his opponents — including his own family.
“That n-gga Em is a disrespectful n-gga, man,” he added. “He disrespected his own momma, n-gga! Shit, he disrespected himself. That n-gga talked about killing his baby momma, putting her in the trunk, fucked my own momma … If he ain’t mind doing that to himself, ain’t no limits to where he gonna go with another muthafucka.
“You got two crafty n-ggas, two disrespectful, two rappin’-ass n-ggas, two creative n-ggas … [Eminem] better get to whippin’ it up because one thing about Game, he already got a response because the first one gonna fuck the world up.”
There’s no word on when the diss track could drop, but fans will be paying close attention. The Game ignited the rivalry when he told Drink Champs hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN that Eminem is a good rapper, but not better than him.
“I like Eminem, he’s one of the fucking good MCs, great MCs,” he said. “I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not. He not. He’s not. Ay, challenge it. It’s not drama!… Swizz [Beatz] and Timbaland know that it’s bigger than Verzuz. I’m not saying I want smoke with Eminem, I’m saying I want smoke with Eminem, him, and him, whoever.”
