The LOX stopped by Bar 1505 in Houston, Texas for a special Father’s Day performance and afterward linked up backstage with the local legend Scarface to take some photos.
While all three LOX members have never linked up with Scarface for a track, Jadakiss and Styles have worked with the Houston OG separately a few times. Jada traded bars with him on 2000’s “WWII” off the Ruff Ryders Ryde or Die Vol. II compilation project, and teamed up for DJ Khaled’s 2013 track “Never Surrender” alongside Meek Mill, Akon and John Legend. Face appeared on Styles P’s “Go Hard” and Berner’s “Go On,” while Styles, Sheek and Face all rapped on the late DJ Kay Slay’s “Lights Glowing.”

Scarface is currently in the throes of his Farewell Tour, a 32-city trek that will bring the saga of Brad Jordan’s rap persona to a close once and for all. The tour was announced following a grueling bout of COVID-19 Scarface experienced in 2020 that resulted in organ failure and over a year of dialysis treatment.
Fortunately he recovered, but fans assumed his final show was the sold-out House of Blues performance in Houston that went down last November. But it seems the rapper isn’t quite done yet, as his last show will now be on August 27 at the Ector Theater in Odessa, Texas.
“I’m done with the rap,” he told Houstonia magazine ahead of the previously mentioned House of Blues performance. “If I could, I would love to go into a different lane of music. Maybe blues or rock. Maybe alternative. I want to do something different now.”
As for The LOX, they’re still going strong and haave a summertime performance of their own on August 21 at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
