Multiple tweets from the Canadian singer were found in violation of the criminal protective order set with Megan Thee Stallion.
Judge David Herriford reportedly heard about an hour of arguments from Megan’s legal team and found Lanez’s social media activity to be targeting the Houston Hottie with “clear messages” subliminally sent her way.
Judge David Herriford heard nearly an hour of argument about Lanez’s tweets and said some “seem to be clear messages” to Megan. He added new condition to Lanez’s release that he’s “not to mention the complaining witness in this case in any social media.” Trial date set for 9/14.

As for the tweet in question, it looks to be the February 23 message where Lanez referred to Meg as “U” and spoke about how he was “fucking two best friends.”
“Good D*ick had me fucking 2 best friends … and I got caught … that’s what I apologized for … it’s sick how u Spun it tho,” he said at the time.

The judge added a new condition to his bail release that he must not mention Megan Thee Stallion in any form on social media as the case progresses.
According to TMZ, prosecutors requested that the bail be set to at least $5 million, but the judge ultimately settled on $350,000, which Tory Lanez is in the process of posting to regain his freedom.
Dillon added that the trial is finally set to get underway on September 14 when both parties will be back in court.
