A skateboarding cholo who goes by the name Doggface went viral in 2020 singing to Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 classic “Dreams” and drinking Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice out of the container. Millions of views and Instagram followers later, Doggface (real name Nathan Apocada) is making his rapping debut alongside the inimitable Snoop Dogg.
In a clip published to YouTube on Sunday (March 20), Doggface and Snoop Dogg reimagine War’s 1975 hit “Low Rider” from the group’s Why Can’t We Be Friends? album. While it’s just 30-seconds in length, it only takes a split second to discern the video is an extremely weed-friendly affair.
As Doggface raps about having “no lighter,” the camera focuses on several of Snoop Dogg’s cannabis products before Snoop comes in with his verse. Appropriately, the full video is expected to arrive on April 20, the international weed smoker’s holiday.
Doggface and Snoop Dogg have been developing their collaborative relationship for months. In October 2021, the weed connoisseur wished the D-O-Double-G a happy birthday on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself standing next to the West Coast Hip Hop legend.
“Happy Day Day to the Big Dogg,” he wrote in the caption. “It’s been a pleasure working with you meeting you an thanks for all the game you drop for my ears to listen too. my dreams have become realities thanks to the kind KING heart you have my G. stay blessed homie @snoopdogg.”

Doggface has linked with several rap stars since his rise to notoriety. In October 2020, Wiz Khalifa was filmed hanging out with him in Los Angeles as the pair smoked on a little Khalifa Kush and bumped his “Still Wiz” track off The Saga of Wiz Khalifa EP.
The skateboarding smoker had just blown up on TikTok the month before, bringing some much-needed joy to a world of people in quarantine as the COVID-19 pandemic continued its rampage. The clip has been been viewed over 12 million times and helped Fleetwood Mac triple its sales for the “Dreams” single.
