Wale pulled a quick tweet-and-delete after he took a sarcastic stab at J. Cole. On Sunday (May 31), the Warner Music Group signee responded to a fan’s comment that read, “J Cole was out with Fayetteville. If that’s not the dopest Idk what is.. @Wale make us proud. #DMV.”
The 35-year-old rapper replied, “I’m sick of a lot of u acting like y’all messiah was the only one outside. suck my dick.”

Over the weekend, Cole joined NBA star Dennis Smith Jr. and hundreds of other protestors in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina in support of George Floyd, the 46-year-old black man who was killed by white Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin on May 25.
Although Cole interacted with his fans, he politely asked them not to take his photo as to not “detract” from the protest’s overall message.
Meanwhile, Wale’s hometown of Washington D.C. has also erupted in riots and protests. For the past three nights, protesters and law enforcement have clashed in the nation’s capital. As a result, officials in Washington are bracing for more chaos.
Protesters began gathering across the District on Monday afternoon (June 1), including near the White House.
Moments before Donald Trump began speaking at the White House, police fired flash-bang shells, gas and rubber bullets into a crowd of protesters outside of Lafayette Square. It’s unclear if Wale was on site.
