Fans who have been waiting for the last installment of Westside Gunn’s infamous Hitler Wears Hermes series can rejoice. On Wednesday (March 31), the Griselda Records leader dropped two new songs off the highly-anticipated project.
The two songs, “Julia Lang” and “TV BOY,” serve as the start of this next chapter in Westside Gunn’s lengthy 16-year career. On “Julia Lang,” Westside pays tribute to the founder of the genderless lifestyle label VEERT who also happens to appear in the music video. Westside lays waste to the Camouflage Monk-produced beat with his sharp lyrics about his fashion and wealth.
“Contemplatin’ breakin’ down a whole, dumpin’, divvy loads (Ah)/Don’t pillow talk to hoes, I’m up in Nieman’s talkin’ dope to stoves/Bathing Ape, OVO, Prada button, down to my kneecaps/I sold my first square, this shit touched my soul/Listen here,” he raps.

As for “TV BOY,” Westside links up with the usual suspects in Daringer and Beat Butcha for a sound that fits right into Griselda’s trademark grimy sound. The same can be said about the vicious bars Westside Gunn drops about cooking up dope and targeting his opposition.
“Ayo, we whip-whop dishes, four-fifth in the Enfantes Riches/Fifty-K for the Dolce and Gabana, the refrigerator in the kitchen/Hand me the ice, Lord, sellin’ dope part of my religion/Back to back Maybach trucks (Skrrt), two-tone/Wet his baby mama house up(Brr, brr), I don’t give a fuck who home,” he raps in the opening verse.
Westside Gunn announced Sincerely Adolf back in October in an Instagram post. The upcoming project will be Westside’s follow-up to his Shady Records solo debut Who Made The Sunshine, which was released on October 2. The LP included collaborations with Black Thought, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, Slick Rick, Busta Rhymes, Armani Caesar and Boldy James, among others.
