Yo Gotti revealed Mozzy was joining the CMG team at a February press conference, and the label’s star-studded roster united for a photoshoot earlier this week where Yo Gotti blessed the Sacramento native with his official CMG chain.
“Welcome to the Family @mozzy #CMGRecords,” Gotti captioned the clip.

The footage finds Mozzy surprised to be receiving his thick glistening chain with the shining “C” pendant as he daps up Gotti and fellow CMG Records running mates Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee and Blac Youngsta.
“Yeah, you smell it on it,” he said while showing off the chain. “Like a muthafucka!”
Mozzy added in Yo Gotti’s comment section, “Appreciate you big dawg.”
The video posted to Gotti’s Instagram also received some love from YG, Bobby Shmurda, G-Eazy and more.
Back at February’s press conference, Yo Gotti asserted that he always wanted to extend the CMG family to the West Coast and Mozzy was the perfect candidate to do it.
“I always wanted to work with an artist from the West Coast,” Gotti revealed on stage. “After years of having big conversations, running into each other and sharing ideas, we come here tonight to let you know, we’re bringing our dawg Mozzy into CMG.”
Mozzy unleashed his Roddy Ricch-assisted “Real Ones” single in February, but he’s got album plans for later this year. Look for his Neck & Neck album produced exclusively by 1uptopahk to be released at some point in 2022.
