Lil Durk Reminds Fans He Chose 'The Trenches' Over Tekashi 6ix9ine's Alleged $3M Offer

Lil Durk proudly stood by his decision to turn down an alleged $3 million offer from Tekashi 6ix9ine’s camp. After recently claiming someone from 6ix9ine’s team tried to pay Durk to keep trolling back-and-forth, the Chicago-bred rapper explained why he refused to play the game on Tuesday (September 1).

“The trenches > 3million,” he wrote on Twitter. “If anybody I love a rat idc who you is you cut and fuck you.”

In August, Durk got involved in a social media spat with 6ix9ine, who was disrespecting Chicago. 6ix9ine trolled the Windy City’s death toll while promoting his Tattle Tales album, which didn’t sit well with Durk.

Durk’s criticism led to 6ix9ine evoking the Only The Family founder’s dead cousin OTF Nunu in a publicity stunt. Durk responded by announcing he’d release a record called The Voice on September 4, the same release date as 6ix9ine’s sophomore album.

Lil Tjay Suggests Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Camp Offered Similar $3M Deal To Troll For Clout

After participating in the social media war of words for a bit, Durk declared he would stop entertaining 6ix9ine’s antics in late August. During an Instagram Live session, he told fans someone from the controversial rapper’s team offered him $3 million to continue the trolling between the two..

“That bitch-ass nigga label call me,” Durk said. “Somebody from his camp. I ain’t gonna say his label. Somebody from his camp called somebody from my camp talking ’bout they’ll give me $3 million to keep trolling with this nigga. Dead. I hope y’all on here looking and listening. That shit dead, man.”

He added, “I ain’t never gon’ turn my back on the fucking streets, ever. I’m the fucking voice, know what I’m saying? That money shit ain’t gonna change a muthafucka. So I ain’t never gon’ respond to this nigga ever fucking again.”
