Kid Cudi is headed to Saturday Night Live for the first time, with British actress Carey Mulligan as host. The G.O.O.D. Music artist and Kanye West’s Kids See Ghosts collaborator made the announcement on Tuesday (March 16) with a Twitter post, which revealed an April 10 premiere date.
Cudder is clearly thrilled by the opportunity, adding in a follow-up tweet, “If u know me, u know snl is a huge dream of mine. This is huge. Cannot friggin wait!”

Jack Harlow will have a chance to warm up the stage for Cudi on March 27 when he makes his SNL debut with host and seasoned SNL actress Maya Rudolph. The timing is ideal considering both Harlow and Cudi released albums in December 2020: Thats What They All Say and Man On The Moon III: The Chosen, respectively.
MOTM III served as the long awaited follow-up to 2010’s Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. The 18-track album was primarily produced by Cudi himself and Dot Da Genius with contributions from Plain Pat, Emile Haynie and Mike Dean, who also contributed to the previous two MOTM albums. Features included Phoebe Bridgers, Pop Smoke, Skepta and Trippie Redd.
Commercially, the third installment debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, earning roughly 144,000 total album-equivalent units. It marked Cudi’s fifth Top 10 album in the United States.
