YoungBoy Never Broke Again remains in FBI custody following his arrest in Los Angeles earlier this week. Media coverage around his legal predicament has been vast and the story even made it to The Wendy Williams Show’s popular “Hot Topics” segment during a recent episode.
As Williams talked about the case, the controversial talk show host shamed the 21-year-old rapper for putting others in danger during his dramatic foot pursuit and insisted “he’s got to go to jail.”
But YoungBoy’s mother isn’t trying to hear it and immediately fired back at Williams, writing on social media, “Fuck Wendy Williams around here letting a 90 year old white man suck her dick worried about my child. Stop tagging me in bullshit.”

Boosie Badazz adopted a similar tone via Twitter on Wednesday (March 24), reminding Williams of her sinister past.
“Stop it Wendy Williams,” he wrote. “You Did A Hot 21 Kilos Of Coke Before Your 21st Bday All The Way Till Your Amazing Tumble.”

But it could be awhile. YoungBoy (real name Kentrell Gaulden) was one of 16 arrested in a Baton Rouge, Louisiana parking lot on multiple drugs and weapons charges last September. Following a vehicle search, law enforcement wound up seizing handguns, rifles, drugs, $47,000 in cash, multiple pieces of jewelry and a $300,000 check made out in his name.
The incident caught up to him when he was arrested on a federal warrant and taken into FBI custody on Monday (March 22). As suspected, the warrant stemmed from the September 2020 bust and now, prosecutors are taking action. According to TMZ, prosecutors are focused on the two firearms YoungBoy allegedly had in his possession during the search.
Federal agents claim he had a .45 pistol and 9mm handgun not registered in his name when he was arrested. YoungBoy is prohibited from possessing guns because he has a previous felony on his record for aggravated assault. Subsequently, he’s been charged with one count of illegal possession of firearms by a felon and possession of an unregistered weapon.
