Chicago, IL – Kanye West wiped out his entire Instagram account on Friday (August 20), a mere six days before his third public Donda listening party. He left behind a sole photo of his childhood home in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood.
Then on Sunday (August 22), four more photos popped up, including one of his now-infamous black, full-face mask thrown on a sidewalk. Now, the mystery has been solved — at least one of them.
According to a post from photographer Josh Klocek, Ye is rebuilding his childhood home in the middle of Soldier Field Stadium where his listening event is expected to take place on Thursday (August 26). In the photo, one side of the home is partially finished as construction continues. There are approximately seven people in the snap who look to be taking a break.

The Chicago listening party follows the two at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta where fans got a taste of both an unfinished version and a slightly upgraded affair.
The project was initially scheduled for a July 23 drop, then changed to August 6. An Apple Music pre-order link then suggested it would arrive on August 22, but that date came and went, as well.
According to Kanye’s manager Abou “Bu” Thiam, Donda will “absolutely” be released to all digital streaming platforms on Friday (August 27), shortly after the event is over.
The project comes with an elaborate array of guests, including former foe JAY-Z, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty, Fivio Foreign, Don Toliver, Young Thug, Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, Jay Electronica and The LOX, among others.
