New York, NY – Queens-bred rapper Rich The Kid is heading back to The Big Apple to help a Los Angeles-based nonprofit combat hunger on the streets ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
In an email communication with HipHopDX on Tuesday (November 16), #HashtagLunchbag, a nonprofit mobile food mission founded in 2012, shared the announcement for their upcoming One Million Ripples event in New York City with the “New Freezer” rapper.
On November 20, Rich The Kid will help the #HashtagLunchbag NYC team distribute meals to commemorate the celebration of their one millionth meal milestone.
His partnership with#HashtagLunchbag follow Rich The Kid’s recent moves to spread his good fortune, as he traveled to Atlanta earlier this month and visited a nonprofit providing shelter to displaced families and gifted 104 families with new Nike sneakers school supplies and a gourmet meal prepared by chef Indigo Grant.

Rich The Kid is also giving via his efforts to guide up-and-coming artists and change their lives by bringing them into the mainstream limelight. In a post on his Instagram Monday, he revealed Mississippi rapper Siptee has inked a deal with Def Jam after signing with his Rich Forever imprint last year — thanks to Snoop Dogg.
“Congratulations @siptee_ on your signing with @defjam,” RIch the kid wrote in the caption. “Thank you for trusting me & my process we’re finally here signing a major deal only 11 months later thank you @snoopdogg on connecting the dots we’re bout to make history.”
