A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie celebrated his 26th birthday today by announcing he’s got a new prequel album in the works.
Titled B4 A Boogie Vs Artist, the New York rapper debuted the project’s cover art on Instagram along with a snippet of a new track and included a release date of December 10. The project will be the first A Boogie has released since 2020’s Artist 2.0, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and became the rapper’s third Top 10 debut on the chart.
The 20-track project was feature-heavy with appearances from Young Thug, Khalid, Summer Walker, DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, London On Da Track and two appearances from Lil Uzi Vert.

The rapper — real name Artist — hasn’t released much music in 2021 and instead has been extensively touring around the country as part of his “AVA College Tour.” Unfortunately for A Boogie, he was forced to cancel a performance in November at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor after he couldn’t find a flight to take him to Maine.
“Everybody that came to Maine I just wanna say I’m sorry the shit got heavy today I missed my flight,” A Boogie said in an apology video on Instagram.
He added after searching for a private jet he finally found one willing to make the trek, and set one foot on the plane before being told it was too late to come. He posted a video of him boarding the jet in question just to show his fans that he wasn’t lying at all, and said he’d reschedule soon.
