Last week saw the release of a number of Hip Hop projects from the likes of EST Gee/42 Dugg, Fivio Foreign, Vince Staples, Coi Leray, Wiz Khalifa and more. Naturally, the competition between fan bases jumped to sales numbers, all of which are projected to fall below the 30,000 total album-equivalent sales mark for the first week.
Trippie Redd took to his Instagram Story on Thursday (April 14) to clown the “C-list” rappers’ sales numbers, who he dubbed the “Avengers of trash.” The group, of course, includes his ex-girlfriend Coi Leray, who is projected to sell 11,000 first-week, so the Ohio native had no issue laughing it up at her expense.
“I need all the C-list rappers — we bout to create the Avengers of trash n-ggas,” he said. “N-gga, we gon’ sell what? If we all put our 30,000 first week together, we gonna make a milli, n-gga!”

In Trippie’s case, at least his numbers back up his claims. The “Dark Knight Dummo” rapper hasn’t sold less than 50,000 first-week for any of his projects and his most recent, 2021’s Trip At Knight, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 81,000 total album-equivalent sales.
Trippie Redd just re-signed with 10K Projects for a lucrative deal. In March, Elliot Grainge confirmed that Trippie is back with the label after the rapper claimed to ink a contract for $30 million.
“Just signed to @elliot for 30million,” Trippie wrote alongside a photo with a Juice WRLD figurine before teasing his forthcoming A Love Letter to You 5 mixtape. “Now it’s time to start droping ALLTY5 Songs.”
