Congratulations are in order for Toosii and his girlfriend Samaria J Davis. The pair took to Instagram on Sunday (April 17) to announce they’re expecting their first child together.
“This the best thing that ever happened to me,” the 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star wrote on Instagram. The pair’s comments were flooded with joyous congratulations, including from Melii and Florida rapper Yungeen Ace.
“Proud of you brudda fr,” the Jacksonville lyricist wrote.

Davis also shared her own announcement to her 729,000 Instagram followers.
“Some things in life are so special that you keep it private,” she wrote. “Been growing in peace.”
The announcement comes after the rapper capped off a crazy 2021. In December the “Truth Be Told” rhymer rattled off a few massive moments he had last year, including that he went platinum, did over a billion streams, completed a sold-out tour and made it on the BET cypher.
“2021 Toosii,” he started off. “Went platinum. Did a billion streams. Sold over a million copies. Sold out tour. Made XXL. Made BET Cypher. And my whole career I’ve yet to drop an ALBUM just mixtapes. 2022 is mine.”
The 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star also closed out the year by upping his feature price.
“Look, if you don’t got 50k, stop asking what the feature price is,” Toosii said in a darkened Instagram video. “If you don’t got 50k or better, stop asking what the feature price is.”
With a new child on the way, it seems Toosii’s 2022 is gearing up to be even better than his 2021.
