Led by the The Neptunes-evoking collaboration ‘DEAR FRIENDS’ with Kenny Mason, Mercury brings her languid brand of Southern rap into sharp focus on a project built with a cadre of premier hip-hop producers: GoneMad (Lil Yachty), DvDx, OtisMadeIt, and frequent collaborator Nephew Hesh (MAVI, Westside Gunn).
Now based in Brooklyn, Mercury flits between offbeat humor and confrontational wordplay over hypnagogic beats across ten streamlined tracks. ‘MERCLAND’ follows the 2024 project ‘MERCZONE’ and the 2022 mixtape ‘tabula rasa’.
