Cleveland, OH – Extending his seemingly endless run of major moves in recent years, Kid Cudi has announced his first-ever festival in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
After teasing the event earlier this week, Cudi unveiled the star-studded lineup for Moon Man’s Landing on Friday (June 17), which promises performances from some of his biggest collaborators, influences and admirers.
Taking place September 17 at West Bank Flats, the festival features Playboi Carti, Pusha T, Don Toliver, Mike Dean, Chip Tha Ripper and fellow Cleveland natives Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, along with a headlining set from the Man on the Moon rapper himself.
Reflecting Cudi’s eclectic musical tastes, the bill also includes Jaden Smith, YSL rapper Strick, HAIM (who appeared on Indicud‘s “Red Eye”), 070 Shake, Dominic Fike and DJ E-V.

“Every single person on the Moon Man’s Landing lineup I have so much love for,” Cudi tweeted earlier this week. “Bringin all my friends to Cleveland to celebrate freedom and love. One full day of awesome vibes curated by me. Cleveland we know how to party so please show up to rage ur faces off – Scott.”

Further illustrating Hip Hop’s cultural prowess, Moon Man’s Landing is just the latest festival curated by a rapper, joining Drake’s OVO Fest, JAY-Z’s Made In America, J. Cole’s Dreamville Fest and Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
Like those festivals, Mr. Rager has promised Moon Man’s Landing will become an annual tradition in his hometown, telling one fan on Twitter, “We’ll def be back next year!!”
The festival announcement comes shortly after Kid Cudi revealed the release date for his Entergalactic album and accompanying Netflix series, which premieres on September 30.
Executive produced by Kenya Barris (of Black-ish fame), the animated series follows a young artist named Jabari, voiced by Cudi, as he attempts to balance love and success in New York City. The voice cast also includes Jaden Smith, Ty Dolla $ign, Timothée Chalamet, Teyana Taylor and Vanessa Hudgens.
Details surrounding the accompanying album have yet to be announced, but the Lonely Stoner kickstarted the rollout by debuting the first single “Do What I Want” — a festival-ready banger co-produced by his Man on the Moon III collaborators Take A Daytrip — earlier in June.
While his Man on the Moon trilogy remains the jewel in the crown of his catalog for many fans, Kid Cudi has touted Entergalactic as his “greatest achievement.” “This project will move you, it will take your heart places and make you fall in love again,” he promised.
