Doja Cat has responded to those who have criticized her for recently shaving her head.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday (August 14), the singer/rapper called out people who “live in their mother’s basement” for wanting her to look “fuckable,” while listing some of the accomplishments in her career.
“I won a grammy and traveled the fucking globe i’ve had a #1 and i went platinum,” she wrote. “I make hit after hit after hit and you all want me to look fuckable for you so that you can go home and jerk your cocks all day long while you live in your mothers basement. Go fuck yourselves.”
When a fan told her she’s “ungrateful” and should “leave social media n go focus on music,” Doja Cat wasn’t having it.
“You’re so miserable that you have to label yourself as a ‘we,’” she responded. “You aren’t part of any collective. You’re just another asshole that doesn’t know how to read a room.”

you're so miserable that you have to label yourself as a "we". You aren't part of any collective. You're just another asshole that doesn't know how to read a room.

Doja Cat revealed her new haircut for the first time on Instagram Live on August 4. During the live stream, she also decided to shave off her eyebrows.
“I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway,” she said at the time. “I don’t like having hair. I never liked having hair. I cannot tell you one time since the beginning of my life that I’ve ever been like, ‘This is cool.’ I just do not like to have hair.”
She continued, “I just can’t believe it took my this long to be like, ‘Shave your fucking head.’ Because first of all, I don’t wear my hair out. You guys have seen me wear my natural hair out, I had like two eras where my hair would be out, like I would straighten it. There was a moment where it was natural and I don’t even wear it natural because I don’t feel like it. It’s just a fucking nightmare, dude. I’m over it. I’m really liking this.”
When fans raised concerns about her mental health, she replied, “I’m doing dandy.”
