Brooklyn, NY – Fred The Godson revealed he was in the hospital battling COVID-19 earlier this week. According to News 12 Brooklyn, his prognosis is grim. Doctors reportedly told his wife “he might not make it.”
“It was just like — he’s gone and he’s gonna die, that’s it,” LeeAnn Jemmott said. “I don’t even know how I felt, I just felt like I was going to die.”
On Wednesday afternoon (April 8), the father of two daughters started showing signs of improvement.
“Now, instead of the ventilator supporting him 100 percent, it’s supporting him 70 percent,” she explained. “We need him like he is our strength, he is our good vibes, our positivity.”

Despite the doctors’ blunt assessment, Jemmott is hopeful.
“Don’t just assume they are going to die,” she added. “Because that’s all we are hearing is people dying, dying, dying. He’s winning, he’s winning.”
In Fred’s last Twitter post before being put on a ventilator, he shared a photo of himself in an oxygen mask.
“I’m in here with this Covid-19 shit!” he wrote in the caption. “Please keep me in y’all prayers!!!”
