Lil Wolf’s latest single, “Undone,” is a patient, tightly constructed track that draws on Afro-house rhythms while leaving room for atmosphere and introspection. Across four minutes, the song builds from an insistent low-end pulse into layers of spectral synths and chant-like vocals, creating a sense of steady propulsion rather than dramatic release.
Written and recorded during recent travels through Africa, “Undone” reflects Lil Wolf’s collaborative approach. Contributions from Onset Music Group and the Thanda Choir lend the track its textured vocal presence, grounding its electronic framework in something communal and human.
Thematically, the song leans into ideas of reckoning and surrender – less as melodrama, more as process. Its mantra-like lyrics and cyclical structure mirror the feeling of working through tension, confronting discomfort, and finding movement within it.
The Lil Wolf project may be relatively new, but its creator is not. A Juno Award–winning producer with more than twenty albums and a history of film and game work, Lil Wolf launched this chapter to focus on connection and emotional presence. His 2024 EP Relationships 1.0 introduced that direction, with lead single “Love Me Harder” now surpassing 1 million views. “Undone,” released this summer, has already climbed past 250,000 views, signaling that the audience for his genre-fluid blend of electronic and Afro-inspired sounds is rapidly expanding.
Recent travels have only widened the scope. After working in Bali and Vietnam, Lil Wolf is currently based in Berlin, with plans to move next to Ibiza. Each stop brings new collaborations and influences, feeding into a sound that is both rooted in electronic traditions and open to constant exchange.
