Rapper Pooh Shiesty is currently facing serious allegations regarding an “inappropriate relationship” with a supervisor during his period of home confinement. According to federal prosecutors, this relationship directly influenced his ability to move freely on the day that Gucci Mane was allegedly robbed and kidnapped.
Court documents obtained by XXL on Friday, June 26, 2026, detail that the rapper was involved in a personal relationship with at least one case supervisor at Volunteers of America (VOA). This organization was responsible for monitoring his home confinement following his 2022 federal conviction on conspiracy and drug trafficking charges.
The filing alleges that the employee entered unauthorized day passes into the system, granting Pooh Shiesty the freedom to travel to locations outside his court-mandated restrictions. This misconduct reportedly persisted through the day of the alleged kidnapping of Gucci Mane, with the supervisor allegedly entering three separate day passes and maintaining contact with the rapper nineteen times throughout that day. VOA has since terminated the employee in question.
In response to these claims, Pooh Shiesty’s attorney, Kent Schaffer, issued a statement to XXL: “We do not believe that there was anything inappropriate about our client’s relationship with any of the house arrest supervisors. That is not what he is on trial for and is simply a distraction.”
Despite the alleged assistance, the court documents indicate that Pooh Shiesty still accumulated at least four documented violations. These include providing a cold urine sample in November 2025, missing a urinalysis appointment in January 2026, and failing to appear for a biweekly check-in in March 2026. The rapper currently remains in custody while awaiting trial for the alleged robbery and kidnapping, which is scheduled for February 22, 2027.
