Power reflects on this unexpected journey with a mix of humor and resilience: “I always knew I was a mutant alien, but this just proves it now,” he laughs. The diagnosis came as a curveball in the middle of intense creative work, forcing him to pause music recording, filming, and even his daily workouts to rest and recover. For several days, he was visually impaired and sensitive to light, a stark contrast to his usual energetic routine. “I was walking around with these shades on 24/7, and everyone that knows me knows I never, ever wear sunglasses,” he recalls, underscoring the severity of the experience.

He credits the support of leading doctors and specialists for stabilizing his condition and allowing him to continue his artistic pursuits without fear for his future health. “This syndrome can potentially cause a lot of negative complications, but by the grace of God, I have been given the thumbs up from all my doctors,” he confirms.
