Benedict Cork isn’t afraid to put his feelings on the line.
As a songwriter he thrives on honesty, and longs to pull down the wall between himself and his listeners.
With his second EP incoming – and a headline show scheduled for London’s Jazz Cafe in July – the songwriter is stepping into his own lane.
New single ‘Have A Good Life (See You Never)’ is a cheeky break up anthem, a song about attempting to move forwards while at the same time looking over your shoulder.
The video builds on this, with its dark humour finding Ben constructing a DIY clip on an old camcorder to prove he’s “doing good” while at the same time succumbing to his feelings.
It’s a fun watch, one that offsets the stark emotion of his lyrics with something a little gentler, and more humorous.
