Ted Jasper’s laid back approach oozes out of every pore.
Raised in a small town in Cornwall, his music was allowed to evolve through countless hours spent day-dreaming.
Now based in Bristol, he meshes together club tropes, while his DIY touch allows a raw element to creep into his sonics.
New single ‘All Mine’ is out now on key tastemaker label House Anxiety, and it’s a sunset jammer that leans on his fondness for hip-hop production.
John Givez guests on this sumptuous, atmospheric track, a piece of caramel-smooth future soul that places an emphasis on Ted Jasper’s penchant for world-building.
He says: “I love that this song on the one hand seems to say ’I’m so powerful, I’m everywhere, it won’t take much for you to be mine’ whilst also being completely obsessive, begging to be close yet simultaneously bragging that this closeness is inevitable.”
“John Givez really finished the picture I was trying to create, when he sent his verse it put the biggest smile on my face. He brought this whole new dimension of textures and meaning that I couldn’t have created myself. The stars really aligned with this feature.”
Tune in now.
