Atlanta rap icon Young Thug has officially expanded his real estate footprint, acquiring a luxurious $5 million estate in Florida. The property, which sits on two acres of land, represents a significant investment for the artist as he continues to build his portfolio in the South Florida region.
According to reports from The Real Deal, the transaction was finalized on July 8. The Atlanta-based rapper secured the 6,000-square-foot residence in Cooper City through a trust linked to an LLC he manages alongside his longtime manager and music executive, Geoff Ogunlesi. While the home was initially listed for $6 million, the final sale price settled at $5 million.
The newly renovated estate is a masterclass in modern luxury, featuring seven bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. Among its standout features is an 884-square-foot guest cabana, which includes its own two bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing ample space for visitors. The interior design emphasizes high-end finishes, including soaring double-height ceilings, sleek marble flooring, and solid wood doors imported directly from Italy.
The kitchen serves as the heart of the home, anchored by an expansive marble waterfall island and equipped with bespoke wood cabinetry and professional-grade appliances, such as Sub-Zero refrigeration. For entertainment, the residence includes a dedicated game room outfitted with a professional-grade pool table and a massive 200-inch LED television screen.
The primary suite is equally impressive, offering his-and-hers walk-in closets and a spa-inspired bathroom complete with a freestanding soaking tub, a glass-enclosed rain shower, and smart toilets. Outside, the property is designed for leisure, featuring a resort-style pool and spa surrounded by elegant travertine pavers and a sprawling covered piazza. The estate also caters to equestrian interests with private grounds designed for keeping and riding horses, while security is prioritized through automated motorized gates and a comprehensive surveillance network.
This acquisition underscores Young Thug’s continued success and his preference for high-end, secure living spaces as he maintains his influence in the music industry.
