Outkast legend Big Boi and Dungeon Family member Sleepy Brown continue with the rollout of their collaborative album with their latest G Visuals-directed music video.
On Tuesday (May 24), the pair of Georgia-bred Hip Hop artists, along with Scotty ATL, appeared in the high-end visual for their champagne-toasting track “Do Ya Best,” which was released on the 15-track Big Sleepover project back in January. Capturing a diverse runway fashion setting, the video for the record places Big Boy, Sleepy Brown and Scotty ATL right at the center of hoards of beautiful women as they spit their inhibition-lowering bars while pouring up in the front row of the catwalk.
In addition to Scotty ATL’s guest appearance, Big Boi and Sleepy Brown’s Big Sleepover album includes features from artists such as Killer Mike, Kay-I, Backbone, Big Rube and CeeLo Green.
While the project serves as an homage to the structural sonic DNA of the Dungeon Family, Big Boi revealed his plans for an exclusive Outkast documentary during his recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1.
“Oh absolutely, man,” he said. “I just so happen to be in possession of the last OutKast tours from 1998 to 2000-whatever. Like, hours and hours and hours. We had to watch [and] digitize the footage for, like, a month and a half. We had to sit through there and watch it. I got the greatest OutKast documentary, never sold. Locked in the vault.”
