Boosie Badazz's Defiantly Throws Massive Pool Party Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Atlanta, GA – Boosie Badazz hosted a massive pool party at his Atlanta mansion dubbed “Wet ‘N Wild 9” on Saturday (July 25).

The event drew hundreds of people — despite the coronavirus pandemic currently sweeping the globe. Very few people were photographed wearing masks and social distancing was practically non-existent as the booze and other party favors flowed.

And it appears there are more poolside soirees to come. Boosie also plugged a “Mansion Pool Party” scheduled for August 8 in the Orlando area, complete with a bikini contest and cucumber contest (we can only imagine what that means).

Boosie, who suffers from diabetes, is considered high risk and the pool party potentially posed a serious threat to his health, something not lost on social media. As one Twitter user pointed out, “Boosie got the worst case of diabetes you could imagine and always be asking his followers for insulin and he got a 1000 niggas at his house for a pool party lol.”

Par for the course, Boosie got dragged on Twitter for having such a large gathering in these unprecedented times. But then again, the Baton Rouge-bred rapper is no stranger to controversy. His outlandish antics have landed him in hot water plenty of times in the past.

More recently, the father of eight faced allegations of child neglect but quickly took to Instagram to clear his name.

“FOR U PEOPLE TO BE N MY DMS SAYING IM A DEADBEAT DAD U GOT ME FUCKED UP!!” he posted in all caps. “IVE NEVER MISSED A CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENT WITH NONE OF MY KIDS. MY CHILD WANTS FOR NOTHING … ME AND MY BMS R NOT BEEFING AT ALL. WE MIGHT DISAGREE ON THINGS BUT ONE THING ‘I DON’T PLAY WITH THEY MONEY.”‘

He added in the caption, “THESE CHILD SUPPORT CLAIMS THAT I DONT SUPPORT MY DAUGHTER IS BULLSHIT SO LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE.”

Then in August 2017, he was accused of child abuse after he said he was thinking about getting his young son oral sex from an adult woman for his birthday.

The pandemic pool party is just the latest controversy for the 37-year-old. When the virus outbreak started in March, Boosie initially seemed willing to abide by CDC’s recommendations. While quarantined, he offered verses for half-off until the coronavirus subsided. But that was apparently short-lived.
