Chief Keef is looking to make a name for himself as an executive. On Monday (June 6), the Chicago native announced the launch of 43B (Forget Everybody) along with the record label’s first signing in Lil Gnar.
“43B has been a passion project of mine for over a year and I’m ready to give artists that are changing the game a label where they can really succeed,” Keef said in a statement. “I’ve been independent for almost 10 years, so I want to pass on my knowledge of the industry to artists who are shifting the culture so they can make it to the top.”

43B is backed by a partnership through RBC Records/BMG and offers distribution and marketing services for its artists. The label is headed by Chief Keef’s manager Idris Dykes and head of A&R and marketing Sophie Kautz.
RBC has worked closely with the drill deity in the past as they helped release a number of his projects such as Sorry 4 The Weight, Thot Breaker, and Mansion Musick.
“This partnership with BMG offers us the opportunity to bring the dynamic & forward-thinking ideas on ownership and individuality that Chief Keef has championed throughout his career into the infrastructure of our new venture,” Dykes added.
As far as upcoming music from Sosa, look for a collaboration with Lil Gnar to arrive in the near future.
